Rambling On and On and

Hey, how is everything?

I know, it is the first time that I haven't done a review of the previous year.  The reason for this was that I didn't really have the same amount of time available as those times, and I don't want to put forward something that wasn't up to all of the research I had put into those projects!

Anyway, here we are in a whole new year then - 2015!!!

How does it find you?  I know that sounds weird when we are seventeen days into the year already!  You've probably got used to writing the date out now without any problems!

I don't normally have that problem personally, but that's because I'm always writing the flipping date out on reports and such!  Also, I keep a journal anyway, so I get used to the changing days and years I suppose.  I didn't used to before I kept a journal, but now it seems to be easier for some reason.

For some reason I started posting up on Instagram what I was going to listen to whilst at work.  I'm not sure why, but I've gotten used to it, so it will carry on I suppose.

In a way I think I might be introducing people to stuff that they hadn't heard before.  I'm probably not, but I am of the generation where we used to check out each other's vinyl record collection as kids whenever we went to visit people.  I'm sure that I wasn't the only one that did that... (?)

Anyway, at this moment I am listening to the first album by Gorillaz - a cracking project from the mind of Damon Albarn!  That guy likes to experiment and try a bit of everything doesn't he?!?!?!  So much respect for that sort of artist.

Earlier I listened to the fabulous Herbie Hancock album Secrets, which is jazz funk coolness to the max let me tell you.  Damn that guy is amazing in whatever decade!

Before that I had gone through the Michael Jackson double album History, which is actually called History: Past, Present & Future Book 1...  Unfortunately, Mr Jackson obviously didn't live long enough for a Book 2 to happen, although with the Jackson Estate releasing (milking) more material, there might be something similar at some point made up of songs from the album Invincible (the last full album of original material released during his lifetime) right up to one of these posthumous releases.

Who knows, they might even milk the thrown-away songs enough to get to a Book 3?  Who knows?  I'm sure they will do whatever they can to make money from it until they have completely destroyed his reputation, not that there was that much respect for him considering the alleged scandals that were going on - I said alleged because they weren't proven, except for his prescription drug abuse!  Boy has that ever been proven?!?!?!

Anyway, I listened to both of the History Book 1 discs.

Unfortunately I didn't get around to listening to the Led Zeppelin IV album or The Best of Rachmaninov...  I will I can assure you.

I need to look at doing a restoration of my iPhone because things are using so flaming much space up, but the problem there is that the last time I did that it costed me a fortune because I don't have internet at home, so I instead had to put credit onto a mobile broadband dongle to give me internet access to restore the phone with - a real pain in the flaming arse!!!!  I'm not sure if I want to go to all of that expense now!

Sod it.  I'll delete and reinstall things instead - far cheaper than paying out £25 for mobile broadband just to update my phone with!

Anyway, shift is finishing soon, so I'd best get cleaning up the cabin and get myself ready for the off!

That'll do as a quick blog post.  Not much said, but it's just me rambling anyway - hence the blog's title hey!

Thanks for reading, please take care.
