Our Freedom would make a good cover version for someone I think. Inspired lyrically by my study of the slave trade in a big way, the song is supposed to be celebratory in music form to match the lyrics - "Throw down axes and lose your shackles." Also, inspired by my very pro-Amnesty International stance obviously.
It is another song that if you listen carefully is the same chord progression throughout for verse and chorus, but cleverly covering that fact with a changing bass line and lead guitars.
Everything is performed by me except for the shakers and drums by Ellie Mason. The drums by Ellie were in two takes - the first being the bass drum, and the second the rim shot snare playing.
Another decent enough song, with very 60's style panning, heh heh.
